Billing & Account Questions

How do I reset my password?

From the SIGN IN page, click Forgot Password, enter the email associated with your account, and click Send Instructions. The instruction email will arrive in your inbox shortly. In the instruction email, click Reset Password and you will be directed to select a new password before being redirected to the catalog page.

How do I change my password?

Once signed into your account, you can change your password by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Password and update your password.

How do I update my billing information?

Once signed into your account, you can update your billing information by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Billing and update your billing information.

How do I cancel my recurring subscription?

Once signed into your account, you can cancel your recurring subscription by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Billing and locate your subscription plan at the bottom of the page. Click Change Plan and Cancel Membership. Your membership will be canceled and your access will be removed at the end of your current payment period.

My credit card is being declined. Why is that?

Many credit/debit cards have online purchase restrictions. If your card is being declined, please contact your credit card company to let them know the purchase you would like to make is valid. Also, certain credit/debit cards do not allow for recurring subscription billing, and therefore, may be denied.

How do I apply a promo code to my account?

Existing Accounts: Please scroll to the link at the bottom of this page and select “Send us a message.” In the menu, there is an option to “Apply Promo Code to Account.”. Select that, type in the promo code, your Semics Motocross Videos email, and hit Submit. Please allow up to 1 week for this code to be applied to your account. 

New Accounts: When signing up for your account, on the “Complete order” screen, you will see an option on the right to enter a Discount Code. Enter your code and hit “Apply”. This code will be instantly applied to your order.


Playback Questions

How do I watch a free trailer video?

If a video has a free trailer, click on the “Watch Trailer” button under the play screen.

How do I access the PDF files?

If a video has a PDF file attached, click on the black box with the orange tab in the upper right corner, located under the video's description. The Motocross Practice Manual is with the two MX CDs, The Volume 3 Series Video #1 and the #1 Vets Video. There are other, easy reference, PDF files under many of the other videos. 

My video does not playback smoothly. How can I fix this?

Video playback depends on several factors. To improve your playback experience, make sure you have a fast, stable internet connection. We recommend using the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may experience playback issues with outdated devices and browsers.

Can I watch videos on my phone or tablet without using an app?

Yes. Our website adapts to phone and tablet browsers so you can watch our content anywhere!

Can I watch videos from my Smart Phone's WIFI? 

You can watch, and of course listen to, the videos in two of the categories (The two CDs) and (The Mental Side of Racing and Training). If you’re like me, you enjoy listening to interesting audio while driving. The videos in these two categories contain photos instead of video. This way the files are small enough so you can listen from your smart phone’s WIFI, while driving. I have found that my signal strength has to be at least two bars, on my IPhone.

Can I watch the videos on my TV?

Yes. Amazon has an Internet app for your TV. You have to have an Amazon Prime account. Use an Amazom Fire Stick or Amazom TV, open the app and click "Internet". From there you can use if like you're on a browser. 

Or you can connect your laptop directly to your TV with an HDMI cable. There are also ways to sync your smart phone, IPad or Tablet to a Smart TV. There are already some Smart TVs that can access the Internet.

Which browsers are supported?

While we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, we also support Firefox and Safari browser released within the last five years. You may experience playback issues when using an out of date browser or any version of Internet Explorer.  


General FAQ

How can I ask questions and/or leave comments?

There are 3 ways to ask questions and/or leave comments. One is at the bottom of each video playscreen. The second is from the Community. If your using a mobile phone it's best in the horizontal position. The third is to send me an email. Please use this as a last resort. Please use the Community first. Now you can add videos to your post in the Community. Others may have the same question. If you use the comments section at the bottom of a playscreen, only you and I can see it. 

I can't leave a post in the Community?

Leaving a Community post from a smart phone is a little confusing. If the phone is in the horizontal position it should work just fine. But if the phone is held in the vertical position, you will need to touch the + icon on the lower right side before you begin your post. 

Where is The Motocross Practice Manual?

It is added to the two MX CDs, The Volume 3 Video Series' Video #1 Body Positions and Movements and the #1 Vets Video. Open the video play screen. Click on "Resources" under the play screen. This is the PDF for The MX Practice Manual.  BTW... all PDF files are found this way.

How often are new videos added?

I would like to add a new video each month but that usually doesn’t happen. This is because I don’t want to add a new video unless it’s worth being on my streaming site. The vids I produce for the site take a lot of time and preparation in order to think of a worthy vid, then I usually write the script and get all the footage. Then there are at least a few weeks of editing before finally posting.
